LAS VEGAS, NV – Today, the Public Safety Alliance of Nevada announced their endorsement of Sheriff Joe Lombardo for Nevada governor. The Public Safety Alliance of Nevada (PSAN) represents over 10,000 law enforcement officers across Nevada and more than 100 state and local organizations. PSAN represents the largest police departments in Nevada, including: the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the Reno Police Department, and the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.

"The Public Safety Alliance of Nevada is excited to announce our endorsement of Sheriff Joe Lombardo for Governor. Over his 34 years in law enforcement, Sheriff Lombardo has not only been a leader at Metro, but he's been a respected leader throughout the entire Nevada law enforcement community,” said Officer John Abel, the Director of Governmental Affairs at the Las Vegas Police Protective Association. “At Metro, Sheriff Lombardo has demonstrated his commitment to judicious decision-making, steady-handed leadership, and effective communication. There is no question that our state would benefit from Sheriff Lombardo's law enforcement background and proven leadership in Carson City. The Public Safety Alliance of Nevada is honored to endorse Sheriff Lombardo to be our next governor."

“It’s an honor to receive the endorsement of the Public Safety Alliance of Nevada, a group that represents so many outstanding law enforcement officers and organizations from across the state,” said Sheriff Joe Lombardo. “After 26 years on Metro’s police force and eight years as sheriff, I know how critical every law enforcement officer and agency is to our state’s success, and I look forward to being a steadfast advocate for law enforcement as governor.”
