Dana White Endorses Governor Joe Lombardo for Re-Election

LAS VEGAS, NV — UFC President and CEO Dana White endorsed Governor Joe Lombardo for re-election today, releasing a video highlighting the Governor’s record on job creation, economic growth, education, public safety, and housing.

“Four years ago, I talked to you about Joe Lombardo. I told you then that Joe was the kind of leader we need as governor. Nearly four years later, his record speaks for itself,” said Dana White. “Under his leadership, Nevada has added more than 100,000 jobs – that’s more than California! He’s brought billions of new investment to our state and created opportunities for Nevadans like never before.”

“Dana White is a tremendous fighter and advocate for Nevada,” said Governor Joe Lombardo. “Through his leadership of the UFC, Dana has invested in Nevada, created jobs, and helped make Las Vegas the sports and entertainment capital of the world. He believes in Nevada’s potential, and so do I. I’m grateful for his continued support and everything he’s done to help our state succeed.”

White also emphasized Governor Lombardo’s record over the last four years and his commitment to building on that progress in a second term.

“But anybody who knows Joe knows that he’s not going to look at what we’ve accomplished and say the job is done, because it’s not. There’s more work to do to make Nevada safer, more affordable, and a place where anyone who’s willing to work hard can build a great life,” White concluded. “Which is why I, again, am proud to support Joe Lombardo for Governor of Nevada, and I hope you will too.”

White’s endorsement follows last week’s endorsement from Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson and adds to a growing coalition of business leaders, law enforcement officials, and elected officials from both parties supporting Governor Lombardo’s re-election.
